A Garden with a view, Worcestershire

Set in the rolling North Worcestershire countryside, with spectacular views across to the Malvern Hills.

The design for this garden is best summed up in the words of the client:

‘It’s very well recognised that a boring corner of your garden can be hugely underwhelming. It is quite a thing to have the vision, ability and creativity to actually transform it into something really rather special - that’s not a skill set I own!   In November last year I looked out from my study window onto a nondescript slice of lawn surrounded by dull hue-less beech hedges. Five months later Sophie had completed a transformation so rich in shape, colour, interest and intrigue it’s hard to remember what was once actually there. Not only do I have year long colour to gaze-out over through her clever planting, I also have miniature “rooms” to investigate - small bastions of interest smoothly and cleverly designed so that each room follows an evolving narrative as you pass through them, the results of which generations will enjoy for years to come.’

A garden is a love song, a duet between a human being and Mother Nature.
